Rev. A H Ingle

15 Dec 1840 - 17 May 1931

Anthony Horne Ingle was the son of Willis and Elizabeth Ingle. 
Anthony married (1) Mary Ellen Porter and their children included: 
Julia, unnamed infant daughter, Martha J, Nancy E, Sarah C, 
 William W, Thomas T, Susie T, and Eliza. 
He married (2) Mary Ellen Gobble and their children included: 
Gilbert M, Delie M, Grace, Maud, Willis, Millie L, Amelia L, 
Cranston C, Vernie E, and one unknown child.

Anthony served the Confederacy during the Civil War. 
He enlisted in Company I, 48th Infantry Regiment Virginia on 18 Jun 1861 
and was promoted to Full Corporal on 01 Nov 1863.
He was captured near Spotsylvania Court House and was held as a POW 
at Point Lookout, MD and Camp Elmira, NY until 17 July 1865.
